North Devon Against Domestic Abuse (NDADA)

Anyone can experience domestic abuse - it can occur regardless of ethnicity, religion, class, gender, age, sexuality, disability or lifestyle. It can also occur in a range of relationships including heterosexual, gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and transgender. NDADA supports all sections of our community with a range of services for women, men and children and young people.

Any violent, abusive, controlling, coercive or threatening behaviour by someone close to you - this could be a partner, an ex-partner or a family member – is domestic violence and abuse. The abuse can be physical, emotional, sexual or financial. It can include bullying, intimidation, humiliation and isolation – you can experience domestic abuse without having broken bones or bruises
